~ FAQ’s ~

Will my insurance cover hypnotherapy?

Some insurance carriers provide reimbursement but hypnotherapy is not generally covered with most insurances. Hypnotherapists cannot diagnose. I can provide an invoice if your carrier approves reimbursement. In general, insurance companies who reimburse will need a copy of the paid invoice and may want a note from your medical doctor or licensed professional providing approval for you to have hypnotherapy for a specific condition.

How many sessions will I need to see results?

Every individual concern varies in the number of sessions. Some clients can see results after just one session and others may prefer subsequent sessions over time. Generally, 3-6 sessions per presenting concern is common.

Is it safe to drive after a session of hypnotherapy?

Yes.

Will I be able to hear everything under hypnosis?

Yes, it is a heightened state of awareness.

Is hypnosis mind control?

No. In fact, you are completely aware of your actions while under hypnosis. The depth of state does not interfere with your ability to accept or reject suggestion. You can only accept suggestion that you know will benefit you and that you are willing to accept. You cannot be forced or coerced into doing or believing anything that does not align with your value and moral system.

Will I remain stuck in hypnosis after a session?

No. You are taken out of hypnosis after every session. You can even awaken yourself out of hypnosis at any given time during a session; one has to be willing to be hypnotized to enter a hypnotic state.

Can everyone be hypnotized?

Yes. Hypnosis is a natural state, therefore everyone experiences it in daily life. We as hypnotherapists have the certified training to recreate this mental state and use it towards your advantage.

How does it feel?

Every individual is unique by nature, therefore every hypnosis experience is different for everyone. Some individuals feel as though they were not hypnotized at all, yet the impact still reveals itself to willing clients. Others feel as though they were deep in hypnotic trance; but no one feeling overweighs the other in regards to hypnotic success.
